TELESCREEN TAKE ON MEDIA RIGHTS FOR DIBO
Telescreen, who currently represent Dibo the Giftdragon in the Benelux market, have signed to represent all media rights
in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.
Telescreen has already inked deals for Dibo in the Benelux with Nickelodeon for the TV rights and
CNR, who has acquired the home video rights. As a result of this Telescreeneen aree con��dentdent andand de�
lighted to represent the complete Dibo licensing program, including television broadcast and home
video distribution, as well as all merchandise product categories of Cocaban’s animated property in
new territories.
“The beautifully animated 3D CGI series Dibo the Giftdragon is enchanting and pure educational fun
for kids of age 2 �5 and their parents,” said Sjoerd Raemakers, the director of commercial affairs of
Telescreen. “It will be an absolute pleasure to share this wonderful property with the Nordic and East�
ern European market and we strongly believe that millions of children here will fall madly in love with
the gracious gift dragon, as he is the big brother that kids dream about.”
NICK LICENSE SLIME ONTO FOOTWEAR LINE
Nickelodeon and Stride Rite, have joined forces to create a kids’ fashion ��rst with four styles of slime�inspired shoes.
Slime, Nickelodeon’s iconic green goop, has been incorporated in products from toys to books. The new Stride Rite
line is fashion�forward, with slime making its footwear debut. Two boys’ styles, Barforama, a hook�and�loop closure,
and Snotrocket, an alternative closure, each feature a rugged Slimers! logo imprinted outsole, a wrapped toe for du�
rability at play, gooey green splat inspired prints, and their own printed “Warning: Extreme Slime Drippage” label. For
night�time stylin’, the shoes’ ultimate green slime pods glow in the dark.
For girls, Nick’s I Love Slime logo colors and elements sparkle in two styles, Stickysweet, an alternative closure, and
Ooeygooey. Both styles feature a heart�and�swirl sparkle outsole, pearlized leather upper, colorful glitter design accents
and heart shaped green slime pods that glow in the dark.
Slime was introduced on Nickelodeon in 1982. In 2007, Nickelodeon began a cross�country Slime Across America tour,
that brought slime direct to nearly 30,000 kids in 44 markets. Stride Rite will utilize Nickelodeon as the exclusive mar�
keting platform for the Nick Slimers! footwear line. The program will be supported through a custom designed stride
rite box, point of purchase display, a slime�inspired gift with purchase, and an advertising campaign on Nickelodeon
timed to the 2008 back�to�school season.
