Picture Financial, a dynamic consumer finance company based in Newport, is on track to be number one within the personal secured loans market. Since its launch in April 2004 the company has recruited 200 employees and is looking to fill a further 90 vacancies,
in various areas, during this financial year.

Matt Tancock a Direct Sales Loan Consultant at Picture Financial shares his views about working for Picture.

Welsh Recruitment: Why did you apply to work for Picture?

Matt Tancock: I saw a new company advertised and the branding and the company values really appealed to me so I went for it! Before working at Picture I was a sales account manager in a completely different industry. I wanted to continue in sales and working for Picture offered some really great opportunities so I decided it was time to make a change.

Welsh: Recruitment: What was the induction andtraining like?

Matt Tancock: The induction from the training team was really good and well structured. The trainers made everything really easy to take on board and by the time we had finished training I was full of confidence and ready to sell.

Welsh Recruitment: What do you enjoy about your role?

Matt Tancock: I really love the job here at Picture. The whole place has a really great atmosphere and everyone gets on really well. There is a competitive edge but that really inspires you to beat your targets and be the best. Everyone is always willing to help each other and that creates a great team atmosphere.

Welsh Recruitment: How would you describe Picture as a company?

Matt Tancock: I think Picture is a really funky company. The environment is really modern and I feel privileged to work here.

Welsh Recruitment: What does the future hold for you?

Matt Tancock: I want to make a career out of working at Picture and move up the ladder. I have worked here for almost two years now and I really think it is the place to be. I enjoy every minute of it.
