Here at Merthyr Tydfil Council we aim to improve communication with every user and potential customer... and we have been making many changes over some years to improve services to the disabled including hearing loops, ramps, and automatic doors.

This includes training to improve awareness of the needs of people with visual, hearing and physical impairments and includes different levels of competency in British Sign Language.

There is also a loop induction system at all library counters to improve the use of hearing aids.
