UK award winning water-colour artist, Sheila Gill will be returning to the
NEC Spring Fair (B14), Surtex ( booth 2003) and Brand Licensing (Stand 580)
in 2008 to extend her licensed products range with her new seascapes and
landscapes as well as new equine and hare images. Following a successful visit
in 2007 she has forged licensing relationships with several companies produc-
ing a variety of products.
Sheila is a versatile artist who uses watercolour as her main medium because
of its unpredictability and transient nature. Her collections are versatile and
can be used on many products, including paper-ware, kitchen ware, textiles,
bedding, canvas, china, fine art prints and greetings cards. Sheila has been
licensing her work for four years and has a good reputation for meeting dead-
lines and working with licensee’s to achieve the right design for the right
product.
Just when you think you have the hang of it, it surprises you, “I love the way rich pigmented colours move
in the water- almost as if they have a life of their own. I like to guide them on to the paper rather than
command them”.
She lives and works in Derbyshire, on the edge of the Peak District Park. She has been a professional
artist for 10 years and paints a variety of animals in quirky poses, such as horses, cats, dogs and hares
to name but a few. She also has a fondness for Venice and
