IMPOSTA FOR NEW TELETUBBIES PRODUCT RANGES
Ragdoll Ltd has named Too Cute! LLC and Rasta Imposta as the newest licensees for the latest Teletubbies fashion
brand. Now celebrating its 10
th
anniversary, Teletubbies continues to expand its fast-growing licensing roster with
kitschy and fashion-forward accessories and costumes for fans of all ages, including tweens, teens
and young adults, those who grew up with the brand.
Too Cute! will introduce Teletubbies headwear, belts, wristbands, bags and backpacks, many featuring
vintage embroidery for a modern-retro feel. The line, which is designed with the ‘Teleterrific’ art
style, specifically created for the fashion market, will be in specialty and children’s stores in the US
beginning this Summer, and will be offered in both children’s and adult sizes.
In addition, Rasta Imposta will debut a line of new Teletubbies costumes to be available just in time
for the 2007 Halloween season at specialty retailers across the US. Available in sizes from 6-12
months-old through to adult, the line will include costumes for all four Teletubbies, Tinky Winky,
Dipsy, Laa Laa and Po.
The ‘Teleterrific’ art style, first unveiled at Licensing Show in June 2006, is an update on the classic
Teletubbies styling that re-imagines the brand in the format of an animated program. The look was
distinctly designed with tweens and teens in mind.
