Baumann family, whose origins go back to 1929 when the four
Baumann brothers (Gebruder Baumann) set up a company called GEBA. In
1954 Wilhelm Baumann set up the independent manufacture of kitchen buffets.
His grandson Delf Baumann now runs the company.
Today “bau-for-mat” is known as a “Dealer’s Brand” and boasts more than
