ANIMATED SERIES AT MIPCOM 2007
DIC Entertainment returns to Mipcom this year with a new slate of children’s programming, featuring two original
animated adventure series, Dino Squad, created by DIC, and Sushi Pack, a co-production between DIC and American
Greetings Properties (AGP).
DIC will offer international buyers 26 half-hours (or 52 x11 minute episodes) each of Sushi Pack and Dino Squad,
which are being co-produced by American Greetings Properties and DIC with DIC
handling international distribution and licensing and American Greetings Properties
handling all US and Canadian sales. Both series, which target kids 6 – 11 years old, are
currently in production and will debut this Autumn in the US on the new children’s
branded programming block, KEWLopolis on CBS. Additionally, Dino Squad and Sushi
Pack will be part of the official site, www.KEWLopolis.com, which is being created for
the launch of the block and will tie into all of the programming airing on the Saturday
morning television block. The online community serves as a destination for kids aged
6 – 12 years old with a portal to individual series websites. Additionally, the entertain-
ment site features programming information, games, polls, news and more.
“DIC is proud to offer these unique new program options to the international broad-
casters at Mipcom,” comments Nancy Fowler, Head of Global Sales, DIC. “Dino Squad
is fresh dinosaur concept that features transformation, action, adventure and fun, as
well as hopefully delivering an environmental message with an over-arching storyline

Greetings to produce Sushi Pack, which is truly a never-before-seen concept with
unique characters and innovative storylines that will resonate with boys and girls
around the world.”
Dino Squad features five teens who suddenly gain the power to transform into dino-
saurs. Their science teacher, the mysterious Ms Moynihan, guides them as they learn to
work together and use their unique abilities to protect Earth from an anthropomor-
phic Velociraptor who is creating mutant-saurs and accelerating global warming in his
quest to bring back the Age of the Dinosaurs.
Sushi Pack follows five crime-fighting pieces of sushi that protect Wharf City from over-the-top diabolical villains.
The humorous, action-packed TV treatment for Sushi Pack was written by Tom Ruegger and Nicholas Hollander, the
Emmy-winning writers/producers behind such animated hits as Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures and Pinky and the
Brain.
